At RAF Cosford Air Show, guests with disabilities can enjoy the spectacular flying and ground displays in the same conditions as all our visitors. To ensure you have a pleasant, well-organised stay at the Air Show, here is some information on the facilities and services designated for visitors with disabilities.

National Disabled Persons BadgeVisitors travelling by car and displaying the national disabled persons' badge should follow the routes identified on Air Show road signs by the nationally recognised "wheelchair" symbol. As you enter the ticket pay lanes let the staff know that you want to go to the Disabled Parking area and you will be directed to the site. The Disabled Parking area has a firm, smooth tarmac surface and is supervised throughout the day by specialist staff who will provide additional assistance if required. There is an excellent, unrestricted view of the Flying Display from this area and it also has dedicated toilet provision.

All Air Show attractions are fully accessible wherever possible. Please remember that the airfield and car park areas are green field sites and some of the ground may be uneven.

The Air Show site is well served with mobile toilets that have accessible facilities. Exact locations are highlighted on the Air Show map, which can be found in the Souvenir Programme and at various information points on the Air Show site.

Assistance Dogs WelcomeAssistance dogs are welcome within the Air Show but please be aware that there maybe aircraft noise. Please note that no other animals are allowed on to the Air Show site.

Please note we cannot recommend the use of Cosford Station by disabled people or those who cannot manage steps.

Event Mobility Charitable Trust will be providing electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors to the show.

To reserve an electric scooter or manual wheelchair either print out an advance booking form from the Event Mobility website  or contact the EMCT office on 01386 725391 to request a form to be posted to you. Please be aware that advance bookings cannot be made by phone.
