The RAF Role Demonstration Team have confirmed their attendance at this years Show. This new type of display flying, introduced last year, is designed to increase public understanding of the role of airpower and promises an exciting mix including Tornados, Chinooks and ground troops carrying out a strike attack on the Airfield.

Another exciting way to travel to the RAF Cosford Air Show, Wrexham & Shropshire announce plans to run services to the RAF Cosford Air Show.

Wrexham & Shropshire is a joint venture between Renaissance Trains and Laing Rail, which was purchased by Deutsche Bahn in January 2008.

Renaissance Trains were the promoters of Hull Trains , a similar venture to Wrexham & Shropshire, which restored regular direct services between Hull and London in 2000 and which now carries over half a million passengers a year.

The Air Display is likeley to be opened by the RAF Falcons. The Red Arrows and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) have both confirmed attendance and this year the BBMF will be bringing the Lancaster, Hurricane and Spitfire.
